Construction Update - Week of January 28, 2013

Work continues to progress onsite as the building starts to really take shape. About 30 pieces of precast remain to be set on the South, East and West elevations. Glazing installation commenced on the north elevation this week as the glazers took field measurements, welded clips, and started installing the storefront aluminum framing. Carpenters have been laying track and framing walls on the 2nd floor as well as framing for the roof features at the SE corner and on the north end of the building.

The steel frame for the 'grand staircase' continues to progress. This will function as the primary means of vertical circulation as well as a seating platform for informal meetings.
